Our Story

All my life I've known the season changed when I started seeing the Christmas Geese come out.

It started back in the nineties, when a few of the neighbors wanted a decoration the whole street could share. It was a big hit. When folks moved away, they took their goose with them. That's why you see them scattered all over town today. When I moved back, there were fewer geese. There are quite a few more now.

It's an old tradition, and still one of our favorite things about living here.

The first year Chantille and I took this on, we were a little overwhelmed by how many families wanted one. We ended up painting geese at our kitchen table on Christmas Eve. This year we're getting a jump on it.

They last forever. They also make great gifts. Are you selling a house before Christmas? We can think of worse welcome home gifts for the new owners.

  3. Delivery or shipping. Free local delivery anywhere in Bay County, FL, or we ship it to you.
  4. Address. Where the goose is headed.
  5. Phone number. So we can reach you about your order.
  6. Pay securely at checkout. That's it.

Questions

How do I care for my goose?

Bring it in after the holidays and store it somewhere dry. Kept out of the weather in the off season, it will last for years.

Can I give one as a gift?

Absolutely. Just put their family name on it and their address for delivery. Geese make great gifts for neighbors, new homeowners, and family out of town.

Do you ship?

Yes. Shipping is a flat $125 by UPS Ground anywhere in the lower 48. Pick it at checkout. Shipped orders go out by December 12.

Why is shipping $125?

Fair question! A goose only weighs about 9 pounds, but it ships in a box about 4 feet long. UPS charges by box size, not just weight, and adds a handling fee for anything over 4 feet. So a light goose gets charged like a big, heavy package. We keep it to one flat $125 anywhere in the lower 48, and on far-away orders we cover the rest ourselves. If you live in Bay County, FL, delivery is free.

When is the last day to order?

Tuesday, December 1. Order by November 15 to get the $225 early bird price.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. Checkout runs through Stripe, the same payment system trusted by millions of businesses, from small shops to companies like Amazon and Shopify. Stripe is certified at the highest level of payment security in the industry. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and never touches our site, so we never see or store it. You'll get a receipt by email the moment you pay.
